With our Eco Cashmere we are able to achieve total reduction of 74% in water, 66% in energy use and 78% in carbon dioxide; a 5 times lower environmental impact than a similar normal yarn.

Yarn

1 ball of Eco Cashmere (100 % Cashmere of which 50% is recycled; 150 m/ 164 yds per 50 g).

The sample is knitted with color-way Nero.

Needles 

3.75 mm/ US 5 circular needle or double-pointed needles for brim.

4.5 mm / US 7 circular needle or needle size to obtain gauge

4.5 mm / US 7 double-pointed needles (or needle size to obtain gauge) for crown if not worked with the magic loop technique

Gauge

18 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches in fisherman’s rib with larger needles after blocking
